Hospice House Amenities

• Patient Rooms – The house will feature six private rooms. Each patient room will feature private bathroom facilities and sitting/sleeping area for families to stay with the patient. A private deck area off of each patient room will allow for patients to be wheeled outdoors in their beds or wheelchairs as weather permits.

• Family Waiting Area – Will be a large, restful area where family members can gather. The area will feature comfortable furniture and home-like amenities. 

• Children's Play Room - Complete with video games, toys and other children's activities.

• Chapel – The non-denominational Chapel will serve as a place of worship, strength and healing for patients and their families. The Chapel will invite people of all faiths to gather and experience spirituality with others or on their own.

• Library – The library will house some light reading periodicals as well as relevant reading material related to grief and the dying process.

• Family Dining Room – The dining room will offer a place for families to come together and eat as a group. It will offer a large table that can seat many people to ensure extended family has the opportunity to share in that time with the patient.

• Conference Room – Will provide private meeting space for families to regroup and hold necessary meetings with caregivers or other people involved in the dying process.

• Spa Room – The Spa Room will be designed to offer massage therapy and other services designed to keep patients pain-free and comfortable.

• Outdoor Garden/Patio – Two separate gardens will surround the facility to provide a tranquil place for rest and reflection to be enjoyed by patients, families and visitors.
