Charitable Giving
The Mahaska Health Partnership (MHP) Foundation is the philanthropic arm of MHP. The MHP Foundation is a designated 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, and was established in 1994 to serve as an independent board and financial resource for the improvement of health care at MHP. The MHP Foundation is responsible for contributions, bequests and memorials directed to MHP.
Mission
The mission of the MHP Foundation is to provide financial support for the programs and mission of Mahaska Health Partnership as the cost of equipment, technology and facilities continues to climb.

Events and Campaigns
MHP Hospice Serenity House
With a strong core of healthcare professionals and dedicated volunteers, Mahaska Hospice continues to receive tremendous support from the community and grateful family members. More than $400,000 in financial support has been donated over the years, and has been set aside to fulfill a big dream, to build a local Hospice House.
The main partner for this building project is the MHP Foundation, but the project is unquestionably community-driven. With recent commitments, funds from the MHP Hospice Foundation and Hospice Community Funds committed by the MHP Board of Trustees, we have already raised $2.6 million for the house. The cost is now estimated at $3.5 million.

proudly and predominately displayed in the main waiting area and lobby. This tree is
an ongoing MHP Foundation project that started in 2000. All proceeds go to the
general foundation fund. Money from this fund is used when needed for special MHP projects.
