Mahaska Health Partnership Community Health will hold an H1N1 vaccination clinic today, Friday, Oct. 16 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., or until vaccines run out. No vaccinations will be given before 3:00 p.m. The Community Health office is located on the MHP campus in Oskaloosa. MHP Community Health received 600 doses of vaccine including nasal, shot and shot without additive. Vaccinations will be administered to the at risk populations outlined by the CDC including:
• anyone age 6 months to 24 years of age
• pregnant women
• persons who live with or care for a child under 6 months of age or those who are healthcare or emergency services workers
• anyone age 25 to 64 years who has a compromised immune system due to a chronic health disorder
