Community Health: Home Care Aides

Home care aides assist with activities of daily living that are essential in the promotion and restoration of health.

Examples of home care aide services include the following:

• Assist with bathing, shampooing hair, toileting and dressing
• Meal preparation
• Assistance with ambulation
• Laundry
• Other personal cares specific to meet the client's needs
