Community Health: Skilled Nursing
Skilled nursing is provided by a registered nurse who works under the supervision of your personal physician.
Examples of skilled nursing care include the following:
- Assessments
- Blood draws
- Colostomy care
- IV therapy
- Wound care
- Vital signs
- Postpartum checks
- Medication administration/setup/instruction
- Pre-fill insulin syringes
