After you have completed your study, you will probably have a follow-up visit with your doctor to discuss the results and recommendation(s) for treatment. Be sure to inquire at your doctor's office about scheduling a follow-up visit. Some doctor offices prefer that you wait until the sleep study results have been received by the office before scheduling your follow-up appointment.
It is possible that one of your doctor's recommendations may be that you have another test done. If so, do not be alarmed or disappointed. Sometimes, additional procedures are needed to provide more information or treatment.
